Everyone can successfully learn to code even you've never done any type of coding before. When you sign up here at media15live.com, a personal tutor will be there to assist you all the way - all at your own pace.
However, before you sign up, it would help if you have a basic knowledge of computer and Internet-use skills including:
- Understanding of basic computer operations, such as: Using keyboard and mouse, managing files and folders to save, name, copy and paste
- Internet skills (connecting, accessing, using browsers such as Microsoft Internet Explorer or Edge; Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox)
- Ability to use online communication tools, such as email (create, send, receive, reply, print, send/receive attachments)
- Prerequisites. This course is offered online on a non-credit basis. The media5live program coordinator will assist participants with tutoring and resources as needed 24/7. As the course is open to the general public, there are no prerequisites. Each participant will however receive a non-degree certificate indicating the newly acquired skills upon successful completion of the course.
To be successful in this course, each participant requires basic knowledge of computer and Internet skills including:

- Ability to use online communication tools, such as email (create, send, receive, reply, print, send/receive attachments) . students be at least 18 years of age and hold a high school diploma, or the equivalent in order to register.
- Signup Fee. media5live requires full payment of the enrollment fee at the time of registration. Payment is through PayPal by credit card, debit card or bank transfer.
Contract: Signing up and making a confirmed payment enters you into a contract with media5live. This contract covers the full 4-week HTML course - Module 1 - including registration, access to the course materials, tutoring, participation and all other course content. The contract terminates after 4 weeks from your signup date.

System Availability. You can access the media5live server and course materials at any time 24X7, but may be down during times of maintenance required for optimum system performance. The program coordinator will make every effort to inform you of system downtime in advance, but, this is not always possible. The program coordinator cannot provide support for any issues with your personal computer or device if they do not meet normal system/internet use requirements.
It is the responsibility of each participant to obtain and to maintain the proper hardware and software required to participate and successfully complete the course.

Refund Policy. Your satisfaction is extremely important to us. If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with the course, you can contact the media5live program coordinator for a refund. You will receive 100 percent of the course fee (minus 25% setup/registration fee) if you cancel your enrollment during the first 3 days (evaluation period) at start of the course. Unfortunately, no refunds will be given after this evaluation period. To make a request for a refund, please email the program coordinator: code@media15live.com with subject REFUND. You will be notified via e-mail of the status your refund once your request is received and processed. You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within 7 to 14 business days.

Course Cancellation. The program coordinator reserves the right to cancel a course due to insufficient enrollment. Such decisions will be made at least one week before the scheduled course date. Registrants will be notified via email but every effort will be made to avoid cancellations. In case of a cancellation you will have the choice of registering for the next course date or receiving a refund for the full course fee.

Course Completion. Your signup fee covers the Module 1 4-week course. Course tasks are assigned to you that must be completed and submitted for review each week. This is to ensure that you're meeting the set goals and expectations of the course. The program coordinator will assign tutors and tutoring resources to assist you with with learning course materials and completing tasks. To maximize your signup fee and meet the set goals and expectations of the course, it is your primary responsibility to complete Module 1 within the assigned 4 weeks from your start date. You will have no more access to the course after the stipulated 4 weeks from your start date and the course will be considered closed to you at that point.
Contract extension: If you're not able to complete the course or if you want to advance your skills by taking advantage of higher Modules, you can extend your contract. Each subsequent 4-week Module requires a $99 payment. Learn as much as you want. Please contact the program coordinator to assist you with extending your contract.

Copyright and Proprietary Property. You will have access to media5live course materials which are copyrighted proprietary property. You will also receive additional materials that are the copyrighted proprietary property of third parties. All copyrights relating to any course materials provided or made available by us or any other party remain the sole property of the holder of the copyright. Therefore, no part of any course materials may be reproduced, stored in a retrieval system, or transmitted in any form or by any means, electronic, mechanical, photocopying, recording or otherwise, or translated into any language, without our prior written consent.

Warranty. THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, BY OPERATION OF LAW OR OTHERWISE FOR THE USE OR RESULTS OF THE COURSE AND MATERIALS, THAT YOU WILL SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETE THE COURSE, OR THAT ANY PARTICULAR LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE WILL BE ATTAINED BY YOU. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES ARE DISCLAIMED INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

Limitation of Liability. media5live or the program coordinator has no liability to you whatsoever. This "Limitation of Liability" section applies regardless of the basis on which you are entitled to claim damages from us, including but not limited to, breach of contract (even in the case of a fundamental breach) and tort (including, but not limited to, misrepresentation). This limitation of liability also applies to any third parties or resources we make available for your use.
